Board Approves Building Permits With Disposal Removal and Basement Restrictions

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Manchester health board approves conditional building permits. The Board of Health unanimously approved a building permit for 2 Blossom Lane, conditioned on garbage disposal removal and requiring the basement remain unfinished to keep the home to 14 rooms for septic compliance. A second discussion involved 15 Old Neck Road, which has a Title 5 violation for a pool house illegally connected to the cesspool.

Board Chair Peter Colarusso and members Joan Cottler and Leah Peavey reviewed both properties.
