Board approves prior minutes, advances grant digitization planning

Board of Health · Meeting of February 26, 2026

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Board of Health approves prior minutes, hears grant and regulation updates. The board unanimously approved minutes from December 18 and January 8 meetings and heard Public Health Agent Wendy Hansbury report on the Cape Ann Public Health Alliance's record digitization initiative under a Public Health Excellence Grant. Members discussed digitization options and requested $10,000 in grant funds for research rather than contractor participation.

The board also heard a Tobacco Coalition proposal for notifying licensees of approved and prohibited products and requested that local Manchester regulations and State references be included in the letter. Nurse Pam Crehan reported on Regional Youth Prevention Network activities, with the board requesting a draft plan for bringing RYPN programs into Manchester by March 12.
