Board approves tobacco retail compliance language

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Manchester Board of Health approves tobacco retailer compliance language. Chair Peter Colarusso led the board to a unanimous 4-0 vote adding language requiring applicants to acknowledge compliance with federal, state, and local laws to both tobacco applications and licenses. In a second unanimous vote, the board approved submitting the Performance Standards Survey to the state.
Ms. Hansbury also updated the board on progress toward digitizing historic health department records through the Public Health Excellence Grant, with operation targeted for June 30, 2026.
