Community Preservation Committee approves $350,000 Rotunda restoration grant

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Community Preservation Committee approves $350,000 grant for Rotunda restoration at Tucks Point. Chairman Jack Burke and six voting members unanimously backed the grant, which reduces the town's borrowing for the project to approximately $2 million. The committee simultaneously voted unanimously to amend its previous grant to the Manchester Affordable Housing Trust from $200,000 to $100,000, freeing funds for the Rotunda after the trust voluntarily reduced its request.

All seven voting members supported both actions; the committee recorded no dissenting votes.
