CPC Provisionally Approves FY2027 Preservation Funding With Project Adjustments

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Manchester community preservation panel provisionally approves FY2027 project funding slate with adjustments. Chairman Jack Burke led the committee to approve changes including increasing park signage at Pine Street Field and Reed Park to $16,000 and reducing First Parish Church roof contribution to $12,000; the vote passed eight to one. Approved funding includes $200,000 for the Manchester Affordable Housing Trust, $35,000 for Rosedale cemetery restoration, $20,000 for a historic district survey consultant, and $3,100 for historical photograph restoration.
The committee deferred a decision on a proposed $2.2 million Rotunda restoration bond pending input from the Select Board and Finance Committee.
