MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — The Harbor Advisory Committee heard that four major harbor projects are positioned to move to bidding in summer. The Manchester Harbormaster Department announced that the Reed Park expansion, Fishermen's Facility, and Rotunda project all have required permits in place; the dredging project is pending Army Corps of Engineers approval. If that final permit arrives on schedule, all four projects will go out for bid simultaneously in late July, with construction expected to commence shortly after October 1st.

The Manchester Sailing Association reported significant growth, with enrollment up 50 percent year-over-year and a further 25 percent since June.
