Harbor panel reviews regulations, launch ramp signage, 2026 project timeline.

Harbor Advisory Committee · Meeting of January 14, 2026

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Harbor panel advances regulation review toward Select Board adoption. The Harbor Advisory Committee unanimously approved prior minutes and scheduled proposed Harbor Regulations amendments for Town Legal review, with intent to bring a final recommendation back to the committee next month. The Harbor Master reported new signage with QR code payment functionality will be installed at the main launch ramp.

Three major projects—Reed Park, Morse Pier, and the Rotunda—are targeted for simultaneous 2026 bidding to maximize equipment and mobilization efficiencies, though dredging remains stalled pending permits from the Army Corps of Engineers and Massachusetts DEP.
