Library Board approves $2,495 in trust fund spending requests

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Library Board of Trustees approves funding for professional development and operations. Chair Sarah Davis and trustees unanimously endorsed three funding requests totaling $2,495 from trust and gift funds, including $1,350 for community hall rental in FY27, $100 for volunteer appreciation cards, and $1,045 for MLA Conference attendance for staff and director. Architects from Olsen Lewis presented a master planning process for capital improvements addressing program rooms, expanded children's and teen spaces, accessibility upgrades, and quiet study areas.
Select Board liaison John Round confirmed that the library's $250,000 ADA bathroom project will appear as a separate warrant article with a debt exclusion vote scheduled for April 27th.
