MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Manchester library trustees authorized a $500 purchase for non-slip entry mats and approved planning for a building renovation project. Chair Sarah Davis, Treasurer David Lumsden, Library Director Cynthia Gemmell, and Select Board liaison John Round voted unanimously on the mat purchase and to approve the Library Director's Report. The board decided to review the annual operating budget in subsequent meetings and discussed potential architects for the library renovation.
A bid for the bathroom component is to be posted in September, with responses anticipated by year end.
