MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Manchester Board of Health approves three residential septic system plans. At its September 10 meeting, the board unanimously approved sewage disposal designs for 15 Old Neck Road, 36 Masconomo Street, and 6 Highland Avenue, with the third plan subject to three conditions regarding force main location, leach area layout, and confirmatory soil evaluation. The board also approved a remedial filtration system for 17 Loading Place Road following well-water testing that revealed total coliform, PFOA, and PFAS exceedances.

Director Hansbury recommended awaiting regulatory alignment before changing well regulations, while the board voted to take no public action on a DPW copper-discharge exceedance in other business.
