Manchester By The Sea Records 13 Deed Transfers Ahead of $2.375 Million Top Sale
Manchester By The Sea recorded 13 property transfers at the Essex County Registry of Deeds between July 24 and August 22. Of the seven sales with disclosed prices, values ranged from $500,000 to $2,375,000, with a median of $1,100,000. The month's top sale was 6 Victoria Rd Lot 6 at $2,375,000, sold by Christopher C. Rollins to Christopher Forespring, followed closely by 33 Forster Rd Lot A at $2,270,000. Six of the 13 transfers, nearly half, moved property into trusts bearing the same owner's name and carried no disclosed price, a pattern common to estate-planning transfers. Norwood Avenue was the only street with more than one recorded sale this period.
