Planning Board · Meeting of May 11, 2026

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Planning Board names 2026-2027 work agenda led by four ongoing projects. Chair Sarah Creighton and the five-member board identified Driveway Regulation Adoption, Housing Production Plan, General District Planning Study, and Downtown Streetscape Plan as committed initiatives, with Director of Land Management Marc Resnick assigned to draft revisions to Sign By-Law and one-square-foot zoning rules for review. The Board will review the current short-term rental by-law and coordinate with the Select Board on new regulatory requirements.

Board members submitted priorities spanning cluster zoning, subdivision standards, non-conforming uses, and design standards; the meeting also marked the final session for departing Vice Chair Susan Philbrick.
