Planning Board endorses Union Street property division
Planning Board · Meeting of April 13, 2026
MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Planning Board unanimously endorses property division at 21 Union Street. The board approved a motion to divide the Zaiger property into two parcels, preserving the required 60 feet of frontage for the main dwelling lot, as proposed by Adam and Cynthia Zaiger. The board also unanimously adopted contingency amendments to two warrant articles in case the downtown zoning article fails at Town Meeting.
Director of Land Management Marc Resnick reported that a town grant will fund streetscape improvements from Seaside One to Beach Street, including surveying and design work to reach 25 percent completion for construction funding applications. The professional services budget for all land use boards has been increased from $20,000 to $25,000 to accommodate Conservation Commission needs and consultant work.
