MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Select Board appoints interim trustees for Senior/Community Center in deed-triggered governance shift. Ann Harrison moved the unanimous approval of Brian Sollosy and Town Administrator Antonio Barletta as interim trustees for a term not exceeding nine months, with a formal governance policy and longer-term appointment process to be developed over coming months. The Board also advanced Article 6 of the Annual Town Meeting warrant, seeking $350,000 from the Parks and Recreation revolving fund for full architectural design and construction documents; fundraising lead Susan Beckmann reported that major donors are prepared to move forward once design documents begin, with a clearer fundraising target expected by October or November.
The Lincoln Street Well project bid results show a projected total cost of approximately $15.5 million, roughly $1 million below prior estimate.
