MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Manchester Sustainability Committee welcomes two new members and plans fall initiatives. Co-Chairs Annie McBride and Sandy Rogers introduced Cara White and Stephanie Hendy to the committee, which also heard from Taylor Dubose of Black Earth Compost about the CHaRM program for collecting textiles, electronics, and plastics. Member Sean Adams coordinated a kids' activity at Festival by the Sea drawing approximately 10 to 15 participants.
The committee plans a fall tour of the compost and transfer station and will research revisions to the town's plastic bylaws as part of its Climate Leader Communities engagement.
