MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — Zoning Board of Appeals approves four residential applications in continued and new hearings. Chair Sarah Mellish and four members unanimously approved a Special Permit for Armand Aparo at 7 Rosedale Avenue to replace a front porch encroaching 5 feet into the setback with a smaller porch encroaching 4 feet; approved a Special Permit for Joe Cunningham at 9 Masconomo Street to build a conforming home with attached garage after the applicant revised plans to eliminate a Variance request; unanimously approved a Variance for Tom and Jane Riley at 4 King's Way for a sunroom encroaching 10 feet into the front setback, finding hardship conditions justified relief; and unanimously approved a Special Permit for Sean and Rachel Masterson at 21 Vine Street to expand a second-floor bedroom by 2 feet by 17 feet and expand an existing garage to add a woodworking shop.
